These terms and conditions apply to the use of Born Studios for studio hire purposes. By booking and using our studio, you agree to comply with, and be bound by, these Terms.
1. Full Day and Half Day Hire:
Full Day Hire covers a 9-hour period from 8:30am – 5:30pm.
Half Day Hires are available in two blocks: 8:00am – 12:30pm and 1:00pm – 5:30pm, each spanning 4.5 hours.
Early bump-in and late bump-out requests should be communicated in advance to ensure availability.
2. Payment and Methods:
A 100% payment is required upfront to secure your booking.
Cancellations made within 2 business days of the booking date will require a 100% payment, which is non-refundable.
We accept payment through VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMEX.
A 2.75% fee will apply to all credit card transactions.
3. Pricing:
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
All prices are subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per applicable regulations.
4. Noise Levels:
Please be aware that Born Social Studios is not soundproofed. While we take measures to minimise internal noise disturbances, we cannot guarantee absolute silence from any external factors.
5. Studio Viewing:
We strongly recommend visiting the studio before your scheduled shoot to ensure that the space meets your specific requirements and expectations.
6. Shared Spaces:
The break-out area and kitchen facilities are shared communal spaces and are not designated as shooting areas.
If you require exclusive access to the break-out area or kitchen for your shoot, you must make this request in advance.
7. General Conduct:
Users of Born Social Studios are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.
Any damage to studio property, equipment, or facilities caused by the Hirer will be the financial responsibility of the Hirer.
The Hirer is accountable for the removal of any excess rubbish or external props and sets, and is expected to restore the space to its original condition.
In the event that the provided bins do not have sufficient capacity for the rubbish, the Hirer is responsible for making arrangements to take it with them upon leaving the premises.
8. Safety and Responsibility:
Users must comply with all safety regulations and guidelines provided by Born Social Studios.
Born Social Studios is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that may occur during your time on the premises.
9. Insurance:
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to have suitable insurance coverage for their activities while on the premises.
10. Right to Refuse Service:
Born Social Studios reserves the right to refuse service to any person or organisation for any reason.
11. Indemnification:
By booking the studio, the Hirer agrees to indemnify and hold Born Social Studios harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Hirer's use of the studio.
These Terms and Conditions may be subject to updates or amendments at the discretion of Born Social Studios. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to review these Terms periodically.
By booking and using Born Social Studios, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Born Social Studios PricingStudio Rental Rates:
Full Day: $800 +GST (8:30am – 5:30pm)
Half Day: $500 +GST (8am – 12:30pm OR 1pm – 5:30pm)
Additional Charges:
Weekend Surcharge: +20% to the base rental rate.
Crew Size Surcharge (film): +25% for any crew over 10 people.
After Hours Opening Fee: Before 8 am or after 5:30pm, there is an additional fee of $50 +GST per hour.
Paper Rolls:
Paper Roll Hire: $60 +GST. Contact us for available colours.
Damaged Paper: $10 per metre in addition to the hire cost.
Background Seamless Paper Rolls for Purchase:
Full Range: $200 +GST each (please notify us at least 48 hours in advance).
Custom Colours: Contact the studio for a quote at least 72 hours before your shoot day.
White Wall Flat (2.4 x 24m):
Rental: $120 +GST per wall flat.
Custom Colours: Contact the studio for a quote at least 72 hours before your shoot day.
Fresh White Wall Paint: Available upon request for $80 +GST. Must provide at least 48 hours' notice.
Parking:
Parking Spaces: Three parking spaces are included with your rental.
